Organization Overview
Franklin International is a privately held company, founded in 1935, by Langdon T. Williams. The adhesive manufacturer employs approximately 450 people and is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. Franklin comprises three businesses. The Construction Products Division supplies woodworking glues, construction adhesives, flooring adhesives and caulks/sealants through retail, distributor and commercial markets. The Industrial Adhesives Division serves the furniture, millwork and related industries with PVA and urethane adhesives, hot melts and mastics. The Adhesive Polymer Division's core competency is emulsion polymerization. In addition to supplying Franklin's internal polymer needs, the Adhesive Polymer Division also services the adhesives formulator, paper converting, pressure sensitive adhesive, fiberglass reinforcement, and non-wovens markets. The International Division supports all three producing divisions of the company for exports to geographic markets outside North America.
